National Forensic Science Week 🔬 The DPS Crime Laboratories provide expert forensic laboratory services, including scientific analysis, management of statewide technical programs, assistance with scientific investigations, expert testimony, and other related forensic services for the state of Texas. All evidence submitted enters the lab through the Evidence Intake Coordination. It is then transferred to the appropriate section for analysis. Once analyzed, it is returned to Evidence Coordination
